Confused??
Okay so back to studio today after the long weekend. I have been confused on the whole project ever since we started this semester and today it just got worse. We were suppose to make sets of 5 models for today with some level of abstraction. We got together in our group and discussed what we had done. I was just confused and didn't have much to say and didn't really get anything out of if. The professor did most of the talking and after talking for more than an hour, I am pretty sure I am more confused. Is education not suppose be about learning more and making things more clear. I know it is early in the semester and I feel like I am just having a hard time get used to the teaching style. Hopefully it will get better, but it is so frustrating when nothing is clear!

ReplyDeleteYou do a good job of describing the hoops design students are asked to jump through. Many faculty like to make a personal game out of design problems and not include the rules. if it is just a game to them,, then play the game. Actually, the "real world" tends to be a game too.
