Confused??

Okay so back to studio today after the long weekend.  I have been confused on the whole project ever since we started this semester and today it just got worse.  We were suppose to make sets of 5 models for today with some level of abstraction.  We got together in our group and discussed what we had done.  I was just confused and didn't have much to say and didn't really get anything out of if.  The professor did most of the talking and after talking for more than an hour, I am pretty sure I am more confused.  Is education not suppose be about learning more and making things more clear.  I know it is early in the semester and I feel like I am just having a hard time get used to the teaching style.  Hopefully it will get better, but it is so frustrating when nothing is clear!

Back to the Mill

Yesterday was our first day back to the class of studio.  This semester our 3rd year level class is split up on two different floors, which will be a change.  We came to class know which section we were in from the previous day.  We were suppose to have the first hour to shift around to find our new homes for the next semester.  Most got situated before class even started.  Our studio professor came up with a layout to organize ourselves, while also giving our studio section a gathering space.  There was a lot of chaos to get into the organization and to put each of us in a desk.  With some modifications we finally got there.  We then got together to discuss the course, the usual syllabus talk and the introduction to the first project.  I am not quite sure of the project, but I am sure it will work out.  It is a little different than I am used, but that is what education is all about-pushing yourself to improve upon yourself.  It will take a while to get used to this professor's teaching style.  Overall a little overwhelmed about coming back to the work of an architecture student.
