These next few are just a couple of construction drawings I did to show the construction of the different elements that are within the house.
This next one is a photograph taken of the M1 model that I was given in the swap and I added an unexpected material. I then had some fun with the scanner. It was fun to see what happened.education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence. --robert frost

Project 2: Sixth Street House
Yeah I know I am a little behind in getting this up. Better late than never. Project two we swapped projects with someone. We then did exploratory exercises of our new models with an addition of doubling the volume in mind. The input we were given are the M1 model, M2 and M3 sets of models, drawings that were done. Our output for the project was M2 and M3 models and drawings that helped us explore various aspects that interested us in the idea of an addition.

Project 1: Sixth Street House
This first project our class was introduced to it on the first day of studio. We were given a brief background on Thom Mayne, Metamorphesis the firm, and the project the Sixth Street House. The Sixth Street house was actually and older home and redesigned by Mayne. He started with some elements or artifacts that he either had or found and designed the house around them. For this project we had to produce several drawings, 5 sets of 5 mini models, and a M1 model, which is more of a final model. It was very interesting to see how each one of us interpreted the design a different way. On the day it was do, everybody had a different looking model of the same house
This is my final model:
I also made it so it comes apart in pieces:
